Website Design & Development

Every website we build is unique, and every client's needs are different based on the needs of their business or project. Here are a list of the most common questions that we are asked about our web development projects.

What is your standard turnaround time for a website?

Turnaround time for a website varies client to client. However, we typically can launch a site from start to finish in 60 days. Simpler websites may be launched sooner, and more complex sites may take longer. Regardless of the length of time the site will take, an estimated time to completion will be included on your contract and will be clearly communicated before we begin the project. We aim to be as transparent as possible with you every step of the way.

Outside of your development cost, is there any additional fees that will be needed to keep my website up and running?

Typically, the only other required cost to build your website is the hosting fee (paid to the company that will host your website). You can think of this as your "digital rent" that keeps your site online. Each project is different, however, and may require other fees to maintain its functionality (third party plugins, services, etc.).

Do I need to have a domain name already before we can build my site?

No, it is not required to already have a domain name for your site. In fact, a majority of our clients have not purchased a domain name prior to working with us.

If you do not already have a domain we can either a) walk you through the process of how to get a domain name for your site or b) purchase a domain on your behalf to use with your website.

Branding and Logo Design

Here are some of the most commonly asked questions about our design process for logo design and branding projects.

Do I own my logo design once it is completed? Are there any restrictions on how or where it can be used?

Yes, once we hand over the logo files, your logo is owned by you and your company. We retain a copy of the design files in case you ever need any changes made to your logo in the future.

Upon completion of the project, you will be given files for your logo design that can be used in print, digital, and web mediums. This should cover most typical use cases that you will need. but you can always reach back out if you have a non-traditional use case.

Do I need to give credit to Courts Creative for creating my logo anywhere?

No, credit is not required in any way, shape, or form for your logo or any portion of the design. You have full rights to the logo once the project is completed and can use it however you please. We will never turn down a shoutout on social media for the work we have completed though 🙂
